In what was an interesting sequence of events, the Swede tried to score from a corner, as he attempted an audacious double bicycle kick. The first attempt saw his miscued shot hit his own teammate while he fluffed his shot the second time around and sent it wide.
Although Sweden defeated Iran 3-1, this takes off the sheen a little from his brilliant week for his country. He had earlier scored a header direct from the opposition goalkeeper’s goal-kick against Moldova.
