The series seemed destined for extra time after Cristian Colman’s headed goal in the 86th minute, but a cross from Hirving Lozano got past goalkeeper Chris Seitz in the 92nd minute, sending Pachuca through. Lozano shows European credentials in win As the match entered stoppage time, forward Maximiliano Urruti went to the ground holding his groin. As FCD prepared to bring in a replacement, play continued with Pachuca eventually finding a goal that sent it through to the CONCACAF Champions League final as Urruti struggled to his feet near midfield....

It has been a disastrous campaign for FCD, yet even so the North Texas side controlled its own playoff destiny as recently as Sunday. The latest 12 products in question join the FDA’s list of “toxic” hand sanitizers to avoid. The new additions bring the total number of products on the warning list to over 75. Last month, the administration issued a warning against the use of a selection of hand sanitizers potentially containing methanol, which can “be toxic when absorbed through the skin or ingested and can be life-threatening when ingested....

Currently, only Pfizer’s COVID-19 is authorized for use in minors. At the panel meeting, which was open to the public, Moderna officials presented data on the safety and efficacy of a two-dose series of its COVID-19 vaccine for 12- to 17-year-olds as well as for 6- to 11-year-olds. The dosage for the older group is the same as that given to adults (100 micrograms), while the younger adolescents received a dose half that strength (50 micrograms)....

Vettel, bidding for his fifth world title this year, capitalised on racing on slicks in drying track conditions after morning rain. The German trumped teammate Kimi Raikkonen by a whopping 2.432 seconds as varying track conditions made for differing tyre choices. Vettel topped qualifying with a devastating final lap in his Ferrari to pip Valtteri Bottas in the second Mercedes. A distraught Hamilton limped out in the first qualifying session when his car broke down with a hydraulics failure. Vettel rubbed salt in the British defending wporld champion’s wounds by outpacing Bottas by two-tenths of a second. In front of a huge crowd of flag-waving Germans at the track near his Heppenheim birthplace, Vettel delivered a lap record in one minute and 11....

During a dramatic finale that saw both Ferraris and the two Mercedes in close competition, Vettel pulled off a spectacular move to get past Valtteri Bottas on lap 47 of 52. Vettel had conceded the lead to Bottas in the second half of the race when Mercedes opted to gamble and leave both their drivers out on older medium tyres during two safety car periods, as the other front-runners pitted for fresh softs....
