Both the Metro Transit Police Department and the FBI are investigating the shooting on board a Red Line train near the Medical Center station just before 7 a.m on Tuesday. One person was injured and transported to hospital for treatment, officials said. No details about the person’s identity or their condition were immediately released. “The FBI is reviewing an Agent-Involved-Shooting which occurred earlier this morning aboard a Red Line train near Medical Center, Montgomery County, Maryland,” the FBI said in a statement to Newsweek....

Thus far, the FBI has arrested over 500 people believed to have participated in the violent attempt to stop Congress from certifying the results of the 2020 presidential election. More than 100 were arrested for allegedly assaulting law enforcement officers. The FBI released the new videos in the hopes that viewers can help authorities locate and arrest 11 other men suspected of attacking police.
