Ahead of the Champions League quarter-final against arch rivals Atletico Madrid, the Portuguese star was practising free kicks at one end of the pitch. Unfortunately, one of the free kicks ended up hitting the young fan and Ronaldo was visibly concerned and upset. While medics at the stadium looked at the young boy, Ronaldo continued to warm up with the rest of the team. But as soon as the team sprinted back to the dressing room to get ready for the game, Ronaldo came up to the fan behind goal and gave him his shirt in a sporting gesture....

Rep. Eliot Engel, the chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, sent a letter to National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien on Monday expressing his concern at the administration’s “reported plans” to withdraw from the treaty. Remdesivir was approved for emergency use in patients with severe COVID-19 in May, after a clinical trial suggested that the drug could shorten the time it takes for patients to recover from the illness. In announcing the updated the EUA on Friday, the FDA said that it is “reasonable to believe” that the drug “may be effective for the treatment of suspected or laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 in all hospitalized adult and pediatric patients....
